The Senior Boys' Rugby Team went on the road to play Nantyr Shores. On the field the boys were looking good as they controlled the game scoring try after try, and shut down Nantyr's offensive strength with superb defensive strategy and sheer power from some of our heavy hitters.
With good ball-handling, the boys made it to the opponent's end many times, with tries scored by a variety of players, such as: Justin Gleben, Brad Perry, Chris Lukyen, Kyle Belasco, as well as Mitch Ambing. The defensive core kept Nantyr at bay for the entire game allowing them to only score one try.
The boys' success on the field sparked some unrest from the other team which almost resulted in a fight, but the referees calmed the players down, and the aggressor received a red card.
With this win behind them, the boys go on to face their next opponent with great confidence in their abilities and strength. Good luck, team.
