On May 6, Innisdale's art community will be showcasing their work at this year's Integrated Arts Showcase 2010. Of the many entries into the showcase there will also be the premiere of "Five Oh!" a movie composed by student Kyle Popovich.
Kyle Popovich the director had this to say about what his new movie is all about: "The movie is about a character named Russell Rodriguez (played by himself) , a man of courage, brutality, honor and strength. Russell wants to become a better person and gain back a friendship and his badge with some help from his former partner, Officer Shakes (played by Justin Doran). Together, they hunt for a dangerous blood thirsty serial killer, (played by Gordon Haney), running wild on the streets of Barrie."
The movie contains scenes of violence, language, and suggestive themes and has an approximate running time of twenty minutes.
This movie is expected to be one of those movies that people will be talking about forever, so I implore anyone with some free time on May sixth to go and see this movie, as well as the other pieces which are being showcased at the event.
