Cadillac One, or 'The Beast'

|

To all of the people who think they have a "pimped out ride", I'm sorry but you don't have anything on the President's ride, referred to as Cadillac One, or more commonly referred to as 'The Beast'. Obviously this vehicle is probably one of the most high-tech, high powered vehicles in the world if it has to protect the President of the United States from getting killed but, when one looks at what went in to the building and designing of this vehicle, many would probably find it to be overkill. Nevertheless, there are many interesting features to this car that defy all manner of practicality.

In the rear end of the vehicle the gas tank is encased in a foam seal that will stop an explosion from occurring even with a direct hit from high powered weapon, and the inside of the car is air sealed to protect against biochemical attacks. When one opens the trunk they will find oxygen tanks, firefighting equipment, and, one of the more interesting features, bottles containing the President's blood type.

When one tries to open one of the doors to get into the vehicle they will find it extremely hard, in comparison to opening a regular car door, because the doors of the Beast weigh about as much as a 757 cabin door on account of the eight inch thick armour plating. Upon entering the vehicle, one will see that in the passenger door there will be a Remington shotgun, fully loaded. The actual body of the vehicle is a combination of steel, aluminum, titanium for strength, with a ceramic coating for aesthetic appeal.

Some of the added accessories include: night vision bumper camera with tear gas cannons on either side of it, and the wheels are equipped with run-flat tires which will still turn despite being fully punctured. Finally the windows are made out of a substance referred to as transparent armour and their secrets are shrouded in mystery.

These are just a few of the different aspects of the very vehicle which protects the President, who knows what else they have under the hood of that thing? If anything, it does live up to its name of 'The Beast.'
