Innisdale's music department certainly did not have an ordinary March Break for 2010. Instead of lounging around the house or going to the movies with friends, these Invaders were representing our school overseas, performing at several locations all over England and Scotland.
The trip took place over nine jam-packed days, where the Invaders saw many sights and experienced some first hand European culture. "The trip was an experience of a lifetime," says grade 11 music student Sarah Campbell. "It will definitely be one of my most memorable high school experiences."
Some of the sights they saw included Stonehenge, Windsor Castle, Warwick Castle, York, and Buckingham Palace. They also went to the Globe Theatre and saw a live production of Romeo and Juliet. Their several months practice certainly paid off because the group played at locations such as the Buckingham Palace and at the Tower of London and did an amazing job representing Innisdale's music department. Several photos were captured and the memories will last forever of what an amazing time they had and the experiences they shared.
