Think quick Invaders! Course selections are here and you better be ready. It's time for grade nines to have some choice, and tens and elevens to look at their future a little more closely. There are tons of fun courses to choose from, and all you have to do is look at the course calender to find them. Examine your interests, and ask your parents. Hey! Why not even talk to a few teachers about it?
Read through the course book and see what there is. If you are in grade 10 and you like art, why not apply for the integrated arts package, or if you are in grade 10 and want to learn about the world, apply for the global perspectives program. Do you want to get some hands on experience? Go for Co-op. Like science? Try astonomy or earth and space science. How about learning about new cultures? There are the world religions and Aboriginal issues courses for that.
There are so many good courses taught by excellent teachers. Get yourself thinking about them now and start your future early. The guidance counselors are cracking down on course changes this year so you should try to get it right the first time. There won't be many second chances to get it right, and you don't want to be stuck in the wrong course, do you? Start thinking about courses for next year now, that way your ready when the time comes.
