On Monday, December 14, the children of Innisdale's staff had their annual Christmas bash. Featuring games, crafts, a visit from Santa, and a pizza dinner, the party rang in the holiday season a few weeks early.
The school was decorated and Christmas carols played as the gym filled with teachers and their kids. While some practiced and played sports with others and their own parents, some played musical chairs and decorated crafts (including gingerbread men, the hit of the night).
Santa came to visit, played by Mrs. Hopper's husband Len, who, of course, had his Mrs. Claus by his side. The Grade 12 Leadership class played elves and ran the event.
"This was the best one in the six years we've been helping out," said an ecstatic Mrs. Hopper. And, of course, the kids had lots of fun, too.
